Biography
Cookie Break are a melodic punk band from Poznan [Poland] strongly inspired by 90's Californian punk. The style of their music can be described as rock or pop punk with powerful guitar riffs and strong vocals. It's rare to find similar bands in Poland, cause this genre is not as popular here.
The band's name originates from a sketch released by MadTV, where the main roles are played by members of Blink 182. The sketch starts with the words: "Cookie Break" (0:30).
CB was formed in December 2012 by Darek (guitar) who completed the entire crew.

The fun-fact is that the band had extreme difficulties finding the perfect drummer who could handle playing this kind of music. After the issues they faced in this situation - CB wrote a song called "Mark" which is a true story based on the worst drummer they've ever met.

Pretty soon they were able to start playing their first concerts, including Jarocin Punk Festival and many shows with pop-punk bands from other parts of Europe. Cookie Break's biggest succes in these years was being chosen from over 700 bands and reaching the semi-finals of the PolAndRock Festival competition - which is the biggest rock festival in Poland.
So far, the band recorded 4 hit songs at State Of Sound Studio, led by great polish producer Adi Owsianik. Some of these songs were also released on a few melodic punk compilations.

In August 2016 CB published their first official music video for "Mark" on YouTube and also released their first EP called 'Going Nuts'.
During the popular virus pandemic time band had a long break, and some bandmates decided to end cooperation. After crew changes CB came back in 2022 to play on Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia and start the new period in the band's life.
Band members :
DAREK (lead guitar) - Forever young, guitar maniac, songwriter, home-recording producer, perfectionist, keto pizza enthusiast, yerba mate fan, dreamer.
MICHAEL (vocals) - A guy who breaks the hearts of his groupies, skater and MMA fighter, fan of vampires and J.R.R Tolkien
HARRY (rythm guitar) - Also known as a Sven. Mysterious, driving cars on foreign plates, playing banquet songs when no one is watching
BART (bass) - Daddy, huge fan of Bad Religion, bass pedalboards and italian dishes with pasta. He does not refuse beer meetings.
TOM (drums) - At the first impression he's a shy and humble guy, but the real beast awakes when he start drumming. Aviation enthusiast.
